– High fiber level – about 25%
– 60% of complex carbohydrates, which are absorbed more slowly and give a longer feeling of satiety
– Contains very little unsaturated fat (great for regulating cholesterol)
– It is a source of vitamins C, K and B complex, as well as minerals such as iron, magnesium, potassium, copper and is a good source of folic acid
